Dans ce nouveau numéro du Samedi Politique, Élise Blaise reçoit le criminologue Xavier Raufer pour analyser une question brûlante : la montée de la violence politique en France.

Deux semaines après la mort de Quentin Deranque, jeune militant tué à Lyon par des militants d’extrême-gauche, le débat dépasse le fait divers. À moins d’un an et demi de l’élection présidentielle, la France entre-t-elle dans une phase de radicalisation politique ?

La violence d’extrême-gauche est-elle en progression ? Existe-t-il une asymétrie dans le traitement médiatique et politique des violences dites d’"extrême-droite" et d’"extrême-gauche" ? Quels précédents historiques peut-on identifier — de Mai 68, aux violences des black blocs pendant les rassemblements des Gilets Jaunes en passant par les années 80 ?
